About Us

Territory of dreams and legends, this region of the world is dominated by two majestic mountain ranges: the Pamir and the Tien-Shan, bordered by three vast deserts – the Takla-makan in the East (China), and the Kizil- Kum and Karakum in the West (Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan).

Following in the footsteps of the Silk Road caravans, from the conquests of Tamerlane to the mythical cities of Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva, through deserts, oases and mosques with sparkling earthenware mosaics: an extraordinary journey to explore the main sites in depth of Uzbekistan, where conflicts between nomads and sedentary people have not slowed down the influence of particularly brilliant civilizations.

In addition to the discovery of Mongolian art, which has sublimated the heritage of Persian, Turkish and Far Eastern cultures while infusing it with its own genius, our itinerary immerses you in a whirlwind of peoples, sharing the epics of the great adventurers of the steppes, evoking the dazzling inspirations of Omar Khayyam or Avicenna, and following the great religions, from protohistory to the present day.

“Legends of Samarkand M7”, whether sailor or landowner, it doesn’t matter, embodies the taste for adventure and the passion for travel, like a mythical character from the Arabian Nights. Founded in 1996, “Legends of Samarkand M7” is made up of a team of 15 employees.

Our communication and correspondence takes place in French, English, Russian, Uzbek and Tajik. We have united our efforts and talents to create unusual destinations and themed trips in the less frequented regions of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, which have remained on the fringes not only of classic tourism, but also of nomadic circuits and mountain treks. .

This mainly means accommodation with locals, allowing you to taste the charm of Uzbek and Tajik houses or the Kazakh yurt, the only way to avoid “Intourist” type hotels!

From 7 to 21 days, we organize trips to discover legendary cities: Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Shakhrissabz, Nourata, Tashkent, Penjikent; live among nomads and go trekking, an adventure in the Fanskye Mountains, and spend two nights in Khazrati-Beshir.

We welcome groups of 3-4 people, as well as 7-12. We have a traditional house in Samarkand where our guests stay and are always very satisfied.

Similarly, in Bukhara and Khiva, we offer authentic houses for our clients. This allows our tourists to breathe Uzbek air, communicate with locals and better understand their way of life.

Thus, we offer our customers the possibility of choosing: sleeping with locals (very popular) or in large hotels (where the rates differ considerably from those with locals).
